The game runs and saves progress in your browser. We use Plausible, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand visits and improve the experience. Account and payment services are not connected.

Analytics

Plausible, hosted at plausible.clapoint.com, measures page visits and referral sources. Google Analytics measures usage, including page views and device information. Microsoft Clarity provides heatmaps and session recordings of page content and interactions such as clicks and scrolling. Google Analytics and Clarity may use cookies or similar browser identifiers. These services receive network and browsing information under their respective privacy policies. Our integration does not upload local save files or backups as analytics events. Visible game content and interactions may appear in Clarity recordings. Browser tracking controls and blockers may limit collection.

Local storage

The game saves your current life, recent life summaries and preferences in this browser under our own storage namespace. Clearing site data removes those records. The previous prototype’s saves are left untouched and are not loaded by this game.

Backups

A backup is a JSON file you explicitly download. Restoring replaces this edition’s local game storage after you confirm. Treat the file as a personal record of your fictional games and keep it somewhere you trust.

Sharing

Sharing a birth link includes the seed that reproduces its starting draw. It does not share your email address. Social sharing opens the chosen service only when you click its button.

Online services

Account, payment and community services are not connected. This edition does not send writes to the reference website. If those services are added to our edition, their data handling will be documented before launch.
